Grant Programs
The Foundation makes grants to public charities that pre-dominantly benefit small communities in rural Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. Our mission of "successful citizens and vital rural communities" can be achieved in part by directing grant resources to projects and programs which align with our grant guidelines. We respond to grant requests initiated by a non-profit organization through our online application, and we occasionally use a Request for Proposal (RFP) to target grants for programs and projects that best support the Foundation’s goals.

The Foundation recently awarded a grant of “up to” $180,000.00 to the Children’s Center of Clackamas County to build a 10,100 sq. ft. facility to increase the number of abused children who can be helped in Clackamas County, a diverse area with many rural communities outside its urban center. More than 60% of the referrals to the current, tiny assessment facility, adjacent to the Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City, are from the remote and rural corners of the county.
