Camp Ford: Adventures in Leadership
for incoming 9th graders

Camp Ford is a week-long outdoor leadership camp for incoming freshman (currently 8th graders) in Siskiyou County.

When: There are two Camp Sessions. You will indicate on the application which session you prefer.
Session 1: Sunday, June 19th - Saturday, June 25th
Session 2: Sunday, July 24th - Saturday, July 30th
** A parent and camper information session will be held in Yreka, date TBD.

Where:
Paradise Point, CA (18 miles southeast of Happy Camp) on the Klamath River. Transportation to and from camp will be provided from Yreka and Happy Camp.

Who: Current 8th graders (Incoming 9th graders in fall 2011) in Siskiyou County, looking for a fun, challenging summer outdoors exerpeince.

What:
River rafting, hiking, leadership development activities, crafts, volleyball, skits, campfire, learning about nature, swimming and much, much more! Come to Camp Ford to get prepared for high school: Be yourself, grow as a leader, and make new friends!

Please submit two reference forms.  One must be from a teacher/principal and the other can be from any adult, not related to you, and has known you for at least a year.  Download a printable reference form.

Application and Reference Form Deadline:
May 6, 2011

Cost: $15 - Includes food, rafting, lodging and transportation.

Note: Upon acceptance to the camp you will be provided with parental/guardian consent form, health form, and liability waiver.
