Ford Institute for Community Building
Rural vitality starts with people who work together to develop and achieve a common vision for their community. Numerous outside forces influence rural communities but the one variable within the community's control is their own capacity to be adaptive. The Institute is dedicated to empowering the citizens and the organizations in the community that must collaborate for the community to be vital in a changing world.
