The Scholarship Program for Sons and Daughters of Employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. for Oregon Residents

The Ford Sons & Daughters Program serves dependents of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. who are planning to attend an accredited college or vocational school in the United States. This program is also available to residents of Siskiyou County, California and other regions.

The Sons & Daughters Program was established in 1995 by Kenneth Ford (1908-1997) and The Ford Family Foundation to encourage the sons and daughters of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. to attend college and to develop fully their potential in any field of endeavor that they choose.

  • Application and Worksheet available online at www.OregonStudentAid.gov/ford-oregon.aspx. Use the worksheet to get familiar with the online application process.
  • Treat it like a job resume – it has a similar purpose! Selection committees want to see what you’ve done and how you’ve already begun making your mark in the world.
  • Be sure to complete all parts of the application.Review your completed application before submitting, including checking for typos in your Activities Chart and Personal Statements.
  • Submit the correct transcript(s). Failure to provide the correct transcript(s) invalidates your application – no exceptions. Refer to the Worksheet for more details.
