Learning and co-designing with rural residents
On This Page
A Ford Institute for Community Building Guide Team consists of rural residents who work closely with Ford Institute staff to plan and design resources and strategies used to support rural communities taking positive action. Guide Teams help ensure the voices of rural communities are at the center of the Ford Institute work. Guide Team members gather for three interactive and engaging in-person work sessions over approximately six months.
For example, Guide Teams have helped the Ford Institute engage a wider network, design a community-building gathering, provide feedback on Ford Institute learning, and develop Community Building Approach resources.
