“I love this building. Nothing is off-the-shelf and all the wood reflects our roots in the timber industry.”

Ed McManus manages The Ford Family Foundation’s headquarters building and grounds in Roseburg, considering them reminders of the hard work, high standards and commitment to advancement behind the Foundation’s creation. He also oversees the maintenance of the Foundation’s Scholarship Office in Eugene.

“I hope that visitors find peace on our grounds and feel welcomed and comfortable when they come in,” Ed says. “I care about the buildings and take a lot of pride in making sure they reflect who we are and what we do.”

Ed joined the Foundation in 2013 after an 18-year career with Alcan Cable. He has lived in Douglas County most of his life and holds a criminal justice degree from Umpqua Community College.
