Bonnie Ford, remembered for a life of service
October 22, 2015: The Ford Family Foundation is mourning the passing of Bonnie Ford, the second wife of our founder, Kenneth Ford. Bonnie Ford was an enthusiastic supporter of all of the Foundation’s work and most especially of our scholarship students.

Friend Donna Watkins of Roseburg said in an interview with the Roseburg News-Review that The Ford Family Foundation scholarship program was one of her favorite causes. “She loved the scholars and participated in as many events as she could as long as she was able,” Watkins remembered. Bonnie was often the master of ceremonies for the talent show at leadership conferences for the scholars.
In addition, she championed other social causes including Phoenix Charter School, Altrusa, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Battered Persons’ Advocacy and the Salvation Army.
A memorial service for Bonnie Ford will be scheduled in the near future and details will be posted here.
We extend our sympathies to Bonnie’s family — especially her son, Mike Stanley, and his family.
