Sally McCraken

November 6, 2015: It is with sadness that we report the passing of one of our founding board members, Sally McCracken. Sally joined our board at the invitation of Kenneth Ford in 1997 and served until 2001. Sally graduated from the University of Oregon and was a well-loved community volunteer for more than 40 years. Other organizations where she served as a board member included The Oregon Community Foundation, the Burnside Consortium (which became Central City Concern) and the University of Oregon. She was also a trustee for Reed College. Sally is survived by her three children, a brother, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Moreland Presbyterian Church, 1814 SE Bybee Blvd., Portland, Oregon, 2 pm, December 5, 2015.
