I obtained the Abacus Project books for several niceses and nephews. Loved the form and format and color usage of the guide books. They were very much appreciated by the 2 families in Tennessee and Alabama and are currently in use with 2, 3 & 4 year olds with a new addition due in May. The good night moon story book was a real hit and will be shared repeatedly.

Overall, receiving the book Goodnight Moon, along with the math activity books was a delightful experience. I work with preschoolers, mostly 4-year olds. Since I see their parents weekly, I have been able to share this wonderful opportunity with them.

I have two sons that are so eager to open these books up with me and do the activities listed. There are so many different ideas to work with my children and have fun while learning. These books came just in time, as my oldest son will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, and my youngest into preschool. Having to find separate learning levels to pinpoint what both children need in one book makes my job easier. I would recommend these books to parents who love watching their children learn and expand their minds in new ways they haven’t discovered yet.

The Abacus Project books are very short and simple. Each one offers tidbits on ways to incorporate learning into every day activities. They're easy to follow and the suggestions leave room for developing your own methods for your unique child. If someone is looking for very specific advice and lots of details, these are not the right books for you. My only wish would be to have more examples throughout. And of course, Goodnight Moon is not to be missed. A classic that doesn't get old even for this parent who is destined to read it aloud night after night sometimes. I recommend the set for this book alone, though the others only make it more worth it.

Goodnight Moon is a kid favorite! I love the way the book brings attention to the details of the pictures. The children listen for rhyme words and repeating words. We've also enjoyed the ideas for fun learning in the Abacus Project activity books.

The book that was sent to me is super cute I really enjoy this book a lot. I loved how the birth-3 and 3-5 year olds has had “just for fun” jokes that you can ask a child. The tool kit on the back of the book are super neat. Teaches you how to make play dough on the stove for at home parents or etc.

Math skills at kindergarten & The Abacus Project - Are a fun way to engage the young minds. Very simple. Goodnight Moon - My grandson loves this book. He feels the texture of the book like he is reading it and runs his fingers on the pages as I read. He sits patiently and listens as I read the story softly and comforting tone so he can wind down. It's a very fun book with a super soft cover, one for any toddler. Today, he picked the book up and jabbered as if he was reading the book to me. It was beyond adorable. When he was finished reading her book she tossed it on the sofa. Highly recommend.

The classic - Goodnight Moon - comes in board book format perfect for little hands. The two activity books that come with it were great, basic ideas to encourage learning in young children. The ideas were useful, but nothing new to parents who are already engaged with their children’s learning process. I donated them to the preschool in the hopes that some other parent - feeling frustrated in that particular area - will be able to make good use of them.

I LOVE "Goodnight Moon", and I was so excited to order this set. I think this is a good set for people that do not have any idea where to start or people that need an extra nudge to work with their child. That being said, most of the information in the activity books was not new or out of the box. But, again if someone is stumped or unsure this set is a great kick starter.

This quick read shows you how to incorporate math into everyday conversations and activities with your children. Most of the activities can be done for free with simple things found around the house: blocks, small toys, little rocks. I've seen expensive kits that were similar to this book that included the little toys and such, but this book shows you that you can teach your children without having to invest a bunch of money in it. This ideas in this book help you learn to talk and describe things to your children throughout your day which would also help develop their language skills as well.

What a delight the Abacus Project books are! I have a four year old granddaughter and another who is just one, so these books are perfect for them. Full of ideas, with bright colors and a great lay-out, with sections on a variety of aspects of learning, including music, language, play and simple practice suggestions. So helpful. Great way to help parents help their children learn in fun ways.

We bought this book for our two year old who is still just figuring out the difference between letters and numbers. The activities in the book were creative and fun for her, but also simple enough that we could do them when we were sitting around or on the go. It was a great way to incorporate math and numbers skills into our day to day conversation and a fun activity for her!

I really enjoy the activities and developmental information offered in these books! I feel as though they will help with the bonding and interaction between parents and children. The only thing I can say negatively is that the book have a very odd chemical smell to the mm and I worry about the toxicity. All in all, these books will be well used .

These books are full of ideas on how to incorporated math into the lives of children and even lists different book titles and how they relate to different math concepts. I see this being a valuable tool in my world with Preschoolers and their families. It is easy to read and understand and not intimidating for a parent that needs support in this area.

The bound books are really simple to read and have some nice ideas. They are also durable enough to be handled by a toddler without being damaged. I found most of the content was pretty intuitive (e.g. compare the size of objects with the child and discuss the differences), but it's presented well. Goodnight Moon is a classic, and more entertaining than I remembered.
