Karin Berner is an experienced administrative professional with finely honed organizational skills and attention to detail. She began her career as an executive assistant, has worked in various roles in human resources management, and most recently as a member services representative at Cascade Community Credit Union.

In addition to her professional experience, Karin has a passion for giving back to her community. Years ago, she helped start a nonprofit and run a summer camp for underserved youth with mental health challenges. Her commitment to serving others is a testament to her character and values.

In 2023, Karin brought her experience to the Foundation. Her background in community-based organizing for youth, scheduling, contract administration and file management has well-equipped her to advance the work of the Children, Youth and Families department.

Karin moved to Roseburg from California in November of 2020 with her husband, Todd, along with two cats and two dogs. When she is not at work, Karin enjoys gardening, home improvement projects and going on motorcycle rides with her husband.
