The Ford Family Foundation offers a suite of financial and program resources in Oregon, Siskiyou County, Calif., and, in some cases, other regions. Many recipients enthusiastically declare that the Scholarship Programs are about “so much more than the money.” Our selection committees strive to select recipients whose past and potential are worthy of special support. We work to develop a long-term relationship with such students – not simply to bestow a financial scholarship.
We Offer Four Scholarship Programs
The Ford Scholars Program is for graduating high school seniors (or equivalent) who have never enrolled full time in a 2- or 4- year college and seeking a bachelor's degree. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
The Ford Transfer Scholars Program was created for current community college students or recent graduates (within the last academic year) of an accredited community college in their home state or Oregon or Calif. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
The Ford Opportunity Program is designed for parents of any age and adult learners over the age of 25, who are seeking an associate or a bachelor’s degree. This program is offered in both Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
Ford Sons and Daughters
The Scholarship Program for Sons and Daughters of Employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. serves dependents (21 years of age or younger) of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. This program is offered in Oregon, Siskiyou County, Calif, and other regions.
