Alumni connections
Why I serve
Alumni community members continue the tradition of service.
Nhi Nguyen
Ford Scholar Class of 2019
“I serve on the Alumni Leadership Council and the Professional Development committee because I want to give some of my time back to the community I hold close to my heart. Besides, we have lots of fun!”
Fernando Lira, MBA
Ford Scholar Class of 2017
“I served [as an Alumni Ambassador] because I wanted to positively impact people’s lives for the better. I have had the privilege of having individuals in my life help me strengthen my courage, resilience and perseverance, which has allowed me to be where I am today. I want to help as many people as possible pursue their dreams, achieve their goals, and continue to succeed to be the best versions of themselves.”
Onica Kibby
Ford Scholar Class of 2002
“I served on the Professional Development Committee because I love what I do, and it is all thanks to The Ford Family Foundation. It means the world to me to connect with alumni all over. I still can’t believe how many amazing individuals are a part of this organization.”
My Ford Family
Our online platform, My Ford Family, allows alumni to find each other based on geography, industry or university attended. Alumni find connections and stay in touch as well as learn about volunteer leadership opportunities, alumni events and how to support other alumni and Scholars.
MyFordInfo
Our alumni resource hub, MyFordInfo, is a place where alumni can update personal information and access resources. The hub contains information on our competitive graduate scholarship program, which gives alumni who excelled in their undergraduate programs the opportunity to continue on to earn a master’s or doctoral degree.
