Ali Conley

Administrative Associate

Shared Operational Services
Roseburg

“Being a lifelong resident of Douglas County and having kids here, I have a vested interest in the success of our community and the people in it.”

Douglas County native Alison Conley finds a great deal of satisfaction in her work as administrative associate for teams across all departments. She says the behind-the-scenes work of managing schedules, coordinating logistics and planning events meets her need to support the community by lightening the load for Foundation employees.

Ali’s work history bears out that commitment. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for the Oregon State University Extension Service in Roseburg, supporting staff with education, outreach and resource development projects.

Ali graduated from Roseburg High School in 2010, and worked in warehouse logistics in Ohio and Texas, and then as a flight attendant for American Airlines. After starting a family, she and her husband, a paramedic, decided to move back to Oregon.

“It was really a no-brainer to move back here,” she says. “It wasn’t just for family, but also for the way this community invests back into itself and everyone supports each other.”

That was in 2020, and today, Ali and her husband have three children who enjoy being with their extended family and getting outdoors. When she’s not working, Ali — who describes herself as a little old lady at heart — loves to host game nights, play bingo and do puzzles.
