Administrative Associate

Community Economic Development
Roseburg
She/Her

“We are blessed to live in a rural community, and I love the idea of my kids being able to come back and raise their families in our small town if they choose to. Thriving rural communities — that’s the work that we do here.”

It takes a lot of attention to detail to keep the Community Economic Development department running smoothly. That’s where Heather Fullerton comes in. As the department’s administrative associate, the Roseburg native handles the details for the team in their work to bring economic stability to rural families.

Heather holds a degree in business from the University of Oregon, with a minor in economics. She has deep experience in administrative work, having worked in those roles for a dozen years for local forest products companies. After taking a break to concentrate on family, she worked for Roseburg Public Schools before coming to the Foundation.

Heather, whose husband is also from Roseburg, enjoys living close to family on both sides and prizes the deep connections she makes in this rural community. She enjoys creating art and spending beautiful days on the river, sitting in a drift boat watching her husband and two sons fish.
