Human Resources Manager
“What inspires me most is the opportunity to meet and welcome new people.”
Philanthropy is a people business and, as the human resources manager, Laura Crosier makes sure the Foundation is welcoming, rewarding and developing staff to meet its mission. She is always on the lookout for thoughtful, engaging people who want to see great things happen in the rural communities of Oregon and Siskiyou County, Calif.
“Hiring, welcoming and onboarding new colleagues is thrilling,” Laura says. “There’s a special excitement when we make connections that bring our work to a new level and lead to community impact.”
Laura holds the Human Resources Certified Professionals distinction from the Society of Human Resources Management. Before joining the Foundation in 2016, she worked in human resources for the United Communities Action Network (UCAN) for 10 years. She is a longtime resident of Douglas County and graduated from Roseburg High School.
