Jeff Strickland
Student Success Counselor
Jeff Strickland is a key part of The Ford Family Foundation student support team. As the student success counselor, he works daily with undergraduate and graduate scholarship recipients across all programs to help them reach their personal and educational goals.
From his own experiences as a Ford Restart Scholar, Class of 2011, Jeff knows that well-placed advice about decision-making and how to stay mentally healthy can make a huge difference for students.
Jeff has lived most of his life in Southern Oregon and brings to the Foundation skills in personal counseling, academic advising and career guidance. Before joining the Foundation in 2013, he served as a counselor at Medford and Ashland public schools, Oregon State University and Central Oregon Community College. Before he began his counseling career, Jeff worked as a project manager in affordable housing and commercial property development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in counseling and a certification with the National Board for Certified Counselors.
